“ I love this place! Visited this restaurant 2 years ago with my coworkers and loved the food and experience. This time around I ordered the Grouper Bites and the Pecan Crusted Catfish. I requested cocktail sauce to dip the bites. The fish was flaky and fresh. Combined with the cocktail sauce and you can go wrong with that combo. I finished the main course with no leftovers. I love catfish. The crusted coating was seasoned well and had a good crunch to it. It was accompanied by fresh sautéed green beans and tasty grits that were well seasoned and complimented the catfish. Yum ”

“ I must say - the fish house in the off season treated me well! No wait, quick service, and amazing food! We sat near one of the giant salt water tanks and it was beautiful. Clean tables, non sticky! Even the menus were a nice clean feel. Our food came out - wasn't greasy despite being fried. Large portion so had plenty to take home for later. The tartar sauce is SO good and we asked for an extra! ”
“ I usually go to The Fish House for the Grits A YaYa. So far it is one of the best shrimp and grits I have tasted. And yes, this is usually my go to dish when I eat at the Fish House. They do have a couple of sushi rolls with blue crab lump meat. I also like ordering a dozen oysters when they are in season. Note, when there is a letter "R" in the month, then it is safe to order fresh raw oysters. ”
“ Upon landing in Pensacola for our vacation, I happened across this recommendation via yelp as it was close and had fresh seafood. We were seated promptly and immediately attended to. Our appetizer was boom boom shrimp (their name may differ). I had the stuffed flounder dinner which was the most spectacular fish I have ever had. The entire plate was scrumptious! The rice was perfect and green beans, tender but snapped. The fish was stuffed with crab and I couldn't stop myself from eating to take a fresh picture. My husband and child had the sushi, each respectively had a different roll. Both looked fresh and neither had one morsel left over. This was easily the best dinner I have had in my life. I will be back as often as I can. Our waitress was attentive, pleasant, and had great recommendations. We finished with icecream and a creme brûlée. ”
“ Very surprise with the credit card fee of 3.5 % on the bill before asking cash or credit . First time ever ! according to the explanation given to as , the merchant had paid over $600 k a year on CC fee . Is this legal ? I ask I'm looking in to this with the Consumer Dpt . “ Very happy I ate at Fish House. On a Saturday morning shortly after opening there was no wait and the views sitting outside are nice. Hope was a fantastic server with great recommendations and customer service. The food was incredible as were the sauces. I hear they have an awesome Brunch on Sundays! ”
“ Fish House is one of the better restaurants in Pensacola. I enjoy the view of the water in the outside seating area. Went for Wifey's Birthday this year as this is her favorite spot. You'd think the seafood is a must and you'd be right. But don't sleep on the fried chicken and macaroni and cheese. My lil man loved it. I had a few bites, it was one of the best fried chickens I've ever had. That spicy butter was perfect. Service is solid here, pricing is a little on the high end, but no different than other restaurants in this class. Make this one of your first stops during your visit to Pensacola. ”
